Family Physiotherapy is an out-patient practice located in the Randhart, Alberton area. The practice is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP). We endeavour to provide patients with the latest techniques and equipment available.

Physiotherapists are trained medical professionals that use a variety of techniques to restore muscle and joint dysfunctions in order to improve mobility and quality of life. They help to speed up the healing process, reduce pain, reduce swelling and can help to prevent injuries by improving biomechanics and posture. Due to their first-line practitioner’s status, you can consult them without a referral letter.

Physiotherapists also help with the rehabilitation of individuals who need to relearn basic movements, for example post stroke, brain injuries or children with cerebral palsy and delayed developmental milestones.
